New Construction

New construction will require the approval and connection to the District’s sanitary sewer system.  In an effort to have a “one-stop” location for permitting, most all submittals will go through the Town of Fountain Hills.  The Sanitary District will review and approve permits through the Town’s procedures.

Residential or Commercial Building Construction

All new construction of a residential or commercial building will require a Sewer Service Agreement with the Sanitary District and a Building Permit issued by the Town of Fountain Hills.   Also, significant remodeling, additions or reconstruction will also require a Building Permit issued by the Town of Fountain Hills.  Please review the guide to understand the permitting process.

New Subdivision Design and Approval

Development of new subdivisions and the design of any new sewer components intended for the District to own and maintain must get approval from the Sanitary District prior to applying for Building Permits through the Town of Fountain Hills.  Please see the guide to understand the requirements:

Rules and Regulations

All sewer services and new public sewer construction must be in accordance with the District’s rules, regulations and standards.
